Cooks Lot Allotment 1010 Shiraz 2016

It gets boring repeatedly saying that these Cooks Lot wines are such great value. Oh well, here we go again I suppose. Super cool climate Shiraz for $23. Boom!

A slick piece from top to toe. There's much to admire about how jam-packed it is with personality yet the asking price always seems too cheap. Dark berry and dark cherry fruit are partnered by lashings of cracked black pepper, oak char and aniseed. A fine rub of tannin leaves an almost powdery feel in the mouth urging for another sip. A great wine for nix.

Drink now to six years.
