Samuel's Gorge Graciano 2016
Stretch you interest levels a little further and be prepared to be rewarded. A smooth and seductive wine from a variety not that often seen standing on its own two feet in Australia.
Claudia at the cellar door tells me this is running out the door with only a few dozen left. I'm not surprised to be honest.
Dive into aromas of licorice, violets and blue fruits to seduce the senses. Juicy fruit is framed by Asian five spice in the mouth wrapping its arms around you slowly in a welcoming embrace. A little drying, its sapping with chalky feels to finish. The juicy factor lures you back for more ensuring large pours and big smiles are the result. A big thumbs up.
Drink now to five years.
Region: McLaren Vale
