Andevine Wines Reserve Canberra District Syrah 2017

With a pretty label to greet the eyes, this is a Syrah guaranteed to please. Well, it's brilliant if I were to be completely honest.

Scents of beauty know no bounds. Think purple flowers, sweet blue fruit, black pepper, licorice bullets, black earth, vibrant mulberries plus a cheeky minty aroma too. I could immerse myself in the aroma profile for some time, that's for sure.

Medium-bodied, juicy blueberries and mulberries are flanked by soft spices and flanked by black pepper skirting the edge of the palate. Super soft, the fruit glides through the mouth with nimble feet. Delicate tannins perch themselves atop the palate like pillows of pleasure eager to call you back.

What a gorgeous wine this is! Savour the moment I say.
