Longevity is the key here. Your patience will be rewarded and that was evidenced over a few days of tasting.
Another parcel of Barossa history which Soul Growers have access to. As per the website, "The Limb family have been a part of the viticultural and winemaking landscape of South Australia since the early 1920s. The vineyard lies along the Western Ridge of the Barossa Valley, near the hamlet of Seppeltsfield."
Alluring aromas of Coconut Rough, earth, cedar and touches of caramel.
Dense fruit gets knee-deep. Sly hints of vanilla tuck in behind the black and plummy fruit. A touch of fruit sweetness adds an alluring appeal with a dry dusty and chalky finish closing proceedings.
It's a wine that grew on me, that's for sure.
