Berton Vineyard Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Handy value for those shopping around the $20 mark. Cabernet from Coonawarra.

Handfuls of dark fruit jostle for your attention. A boisterous type, it's leafy, it's herby, it's minty - all the things you'd expect from a Cabernet at this price point. Chewy tannins are big and a little drying. Camp fire kinda stuff on a chilly night glaring at the stars.

Drink to six years.
