Handpicked Grenache and Shiraz, savoury characters bound along. Black tea, puffs of earth, baking spices and fine pepper, pan juices and burnt ends add layers of interest. Sift deeper to reveal dark cherries and black fruits. Bone dry with a firm puckering finish, a glass would go well with a steak on the barbeque.
