Sassafras Salita Sangrantino 2017

Lamb and camp fires speak to me when I look at this Sagrantino from the Canberra district.

Those big tannins will eat through the fattiness of lamb with ease.

Cherry cola and red licorice get the juices flowing with a neat touch of black earth. A dab of fruit sweetness can be seen before blue fruits swoop. Mouth-filling powdery tannins are drying and puckering leaving a dash of cocoa to muse over. Lovers of tannin will lap this up.
