This Chardonnay is quite a contrast to the Reserve in the range.
Although 100% barrel fermented, this is very lean and thin. There's not a great deal of interest either - it's just a simple wine. Honeydew melon, some cream and lemon zest. A sherbety tang does its best to be noticed too. Spend the extra $$ for the Reserve 2018.
