Dusty is the word. It's loaded with it. Dirt road being spat in your face when your mate does some fancy wheel work. This flows through to the cocoa tannins on close. Baked raspberry tart and dark chocolate fill the mouth but it's firm and dry. Some granite feels speak of its place. A day on and mulberry fruits rise up. Time has enabled this to show a softer and more approachable side but the sapping dryness is still there on close. Give it some time in a dark place or decant well before drinking.
