An imported Frenchie to add to the pile for those that can't get enough of the already flooded Sauv Blanc market. Spending four months on lees, this goes ok.
I must admit, I could have thought this was a Viognier. Apricot nectar and honeyed tones rush at you early. Some tropical fruit characters come later with flashes of grapefruit. There are some textural features from the time on lees and a little creaminess too. Nothing flashy here, it does the job well enough.
Drink now.
