An enjoyable Margaret River Shiraz.
Dried stems, whole bunch and whole berries were used to build additional perfume the tech notes tell me. Some wild fermentation, some carbonic with 9 months in French oak.
A spicy sucker, the pepper just lingers. It's finely dusted across the mouth and almost refuses to leave. An array of red berries and cherries make a play for the charm factor. Whiffs of mulberry too. Black earth takes a back seat with fine woodsy spice before that pepper washes through and holds on long.
Drink now to five years.
