I found this Chardonnay hard to get through.
Oxidised apple, soft cheese, dank timber - the first impression was not so welcoming. I persisted and gave it another go, and despite some yellow nectarines trying to emerge, some spiced oak obstructs it's freedom too. The freshness and vibrancy we've come to know from quality Yarra Valley Chardonnay just isn't there. I'll pass.
