Coonawarra Shiraz from Brand and Sons.
Purple and blue fruits and bound by oak and exotic spices. The fruit slides through quicker than expected leaving a trail of spice in its wake. But that spice doesn't shift on quickly by any means. Oak plays its hand too. The acid is still raw with a tinge of red apple crunch on opening but this softened as the days rolled on. I suspect this will age well and will show better in a few years with some bottle age under its belt. Oh, to have a crystal ball at times like these.
