Distributed by Fourth Wave Wines and readily available in chain stores, I haven't come across the label before to be honest. Mind you, I don't shop for wine at chain stores so that may have something to do with it...
A blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro (65/25/10), you can see the crowd pleasing appeal from the get-go. Some sweetness keeps your interest in the game. Strawberries and cream plus red currants are the main players though. Drying out to a savoury finish which lingers, it goes ok. There would be others I'd chase down at this price point, but each to their own I suppose.
