Wicked. Just wicked. Sleek and generous, this Saperavi just slides down with ease.
Showing a silky melted chocolate presence through the mouth, blueberry fruit gets your attention early. Dark plums and dark cherries get in deep with super fine spices. I keep coming back to the pretty scents of violets - woah!
It's a bit of an outlier in the respect that most Granite Belt wines show some granite minerality but this doesn't speak of its site much all. It's juicy and rounded and fabulously slurpable. A day later it shows more black earth, black tea with dense plums setting in. A wine that will age gracefully, it looks wonderful now, particularly after a few swirls of the glass.
