One of four Viognier wines in the Yalumba stable, this sample was sent as part of International Viognier Day celebrated 30 April. It's a little nutty with some apricot kernel. White flowers and white peaches add to a solid fruit presence as does a squeeze of lemon juice. Bright acidity, there is a lean moreishness early before it gains momentum with a rush of spice filling the mouth. A great drink.
