Meat-eating wine. This just inhales it. A 50/50 Tempranillo and Mourvedre blend from Ridgemill Estate.
Earthy and passata aromas spill from the glass. Blackberry fruit, plums and dried herbs all feature strongly. Char and soft spices add interest too. Drying, dusty tannins ride out to a persistent finish. Burgers, pizza, paella - all that. Good stuff.
