You'd be a hard marker to knock this $15 Chardonnay. Without a splinter of oak in sight, the fruit does all the talking. Readily available, this is a neat find.
Lemony from the outset, soft almonds, poached apple and dried white flowers fold into one another. A fine phenolic grip adds interest before a lemony tang swoops in on close. A big tick.
