This is one out of the box - it's sleek and lean. Considering Verdelho is often lambasted in some quarters for lacking personality, check this. It's mightily impressive and highly recommended.
The label suggests it's like a Pine Lime Splice and that pretty much captures it. Licks of passionfruit curd, dribbles of lemon juice and a delicious tang of pineapple acidity - it's Queensland in a bottle. A whisper of pine nuts also raises its hand late but it's hard to ignore the quality here. Clean and crisp, the acidity is wonderfully handled. Find yourself beside the water lapping up the cool afternoon breeze with a large glass.
