This McLaren Vale Cabernet will age well. Give a few more years to see it at its best.
Still a little tense, it slowly opened up over a couple of days of tasting. Leafy characters and green herbs are prominent early but they settle and relax alongside the black fruits with time in the glass. Oak plays its part with hints of char rolling through. Dark chocolate, cigar box and wallet leather show those Cabernet traits you'd come to expect. With a respectable length, decant for a few hours or hold for best results.
