Casual sips on an overcast afternoon to pizza and pasta night. This is a neat Sangiovese driven by pleasing savoury characters.
Dark cherries and plums, this is a dry wine that leans itself to food but offers comfort on those cooler evenings. A suggestion of orange peel and even apricot kernel rears its head before dried herbs, puffs of earth and fine spices rattle home. Those spices hit and stick lingering nicely. Give me that prosciutto di Parma pizza or the ragu please. A great drink.
