As per the back label: This wine is a tribute to important music in our lives. A powerful and brooding, biodynamically grown Shiraz from our Gateway vineyard in McLaren Vale.
A whiff of this reminds me of a baked summer berry tart I made once from Delicious magazine. Bloody tasty that one, but I've lost the recipe due to poor bookkeeping. Alas, this is bloody delicious too. Steve Flamsteed's fingerprints all over it. The whiff of savoury whole bunch goodness seeps deep - I love it. Lots of boysenberry and blueberry fruits swimming at ease. The fruit rolls through the mouth. Handfuls of pleasure - melted chocolate like. A touch of char comes late with a smooth finish closing with delicate cinnamon and baking spices leaving dusty caress. Heavenly.
This will only improve in the bottle over a decade+
