A wine for the 'needs food' category.
Red berries, plums, chocolate and twiggy aromas kick things off. The fruit presence is ok but there's a punchy lemon like acidity which just seems to have pest factor. Spicy pepper tries to run over the top of everything and makes its mark. Tacky cocoa tannins to finish leave the mouth with a slippery like feel. Pass.
