Whiffs of blueberries and boysenberry fruit plus pretty red flowers take you to far away places. Lovely aromas.
Coming from a wet and lean vintage, the fruit comes softly (and thickly) in part before a rush of warmth and spice floods the mouth. Perky acidity lurks enough to ensure that this has longevity and is nowhere near the peak of its powers just yet. A soft rub of tannin with what seems a deft touch of chocolate to close.
Hold off a couple of years before drinking up to 2030.
