I don't know what type of car Duncan Cook drives around the streets of Orange, but I've suggested too many time before that his wines are far too reasonably priced for what you get. If he jacked them up a few bucks each he'd be driving a Maserati I'm sure. This is another steal for the money.
All the elements of a delicious Chardonnay flow without obstruction. An introduction of toasted nuts, yellow fleshed stonefruit and touches of lemon get you in the mood. Barrel fermentation and time on lees has contributed texture. An attractive gingerbread spice clutches long to a moreish finish. A fab drink - no surprises really.
Drink now to eight years.
