Hunter Valley Chardonnay sourced from a range of sites in the district.
A mix of machine and hand-picked fruit, spending nine months in French oak.
Oak is quite prominent on the nose. Good lemony fruit with a creamy drive takes a backseat to add to its cause. It's toasty and matchsticks too. There's power and weight throughout with a citrusy sherbert tang to close. It goes okay.
Drink now to five years.
