A ripping Pinot Gris. Lucious, damn you just want to dig in. Coming from a vineyard 270m where no herbicides or pesticides are used. The fruit was handpicked, whole bunch pressed and fermented in barrel on full lees.
Attractive aromas set the scene. Poached pear, raw cashews, stewed apple, lemongrass and a lick of fine cinnamon like spices sit long. A minerally undertow keeps pulling you in closer. Mouthfilling, the delicious width comes in spades and is the clincher for me. A fab Pinot Gris.
Drink now to three years.
