The vines in the Nitschke Block were planted in 1968 and sit on loam over red and brown clay.
Plummy and purple fruits step forward owning the space. Wood spices and black pepper rattle along with flecks of green and dried herbs plus touches of dark chocolate and kicks of earth. With time in the glass, it unfurled nicely and will continue to show its best self in years to come. Good stuff.
Drink now to ten years.
