You could be forgiven for thinking this Riesling hails from the Clare Valley sub-region of Polish Hill River. Bone dry, it's a scrumptious number ready to tear into fresh or fried seafood.
Bath salts, green apple and white flower aromas flow neatly through to limes and lime pith. Apple sours sit prominently with an undercurrent of river stone minerality and kaffir lime leaf. Chalky feels in the mouth, it's a refreshing wine, I'm thinking tempura whiting for the win.
Drink now but it will age gracefully.
