A more than handy Pinot Gris with a crowd-pleasing appeal. Attractive from the outset with a faint bronze and copper hue to greet the eye.
Winemaker Peter McGlashan opted to call this wine Pinot G simply because most punters wouldn't know the difference between Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio. Same same but different, no?
Scents of canned apple, hay, subtle musk and spiced poached pear stroll along and sit on the palate with ease. What you see is what you get with the spiced pear lingering long. Lovely summertime drinking.
