A blend of eight Barossa vineyards, this is a spicy sucker.
Firmish through the mouth, spices and tilled black earth take the limelight. The mid-palate thins out a little more than I hoped with bright lemony acidity whipping everything into shape. Plummy fruit creeps forward with more time in the glass, but given the choice, I'd easily prefer the Meta Shiraz.
Drink 2019 to six years.
