A blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc (52/48) with only 5% barrel fermented (all Semillon) in older barriques.
Some effort has gone in to this wine, and respect is deserved for that, but its a wine that has a lot of greenness to it. Aromas of roasted peppers move to green herbs, green melon and a leafiness. Some textural feels are evident from the small barrel ferment portion. It's clean and crisp with some crunch factor but too greeny for me. Perhaps food would help?
