Redman Wines Shiraz 2018

Tasted side by side with the new release 2016, the vibrancy of this wine is clear.

Brighter, red currants and raspberry fruit are the hero. They dance with ease flanked by savoury characters. A day on and it gets to work and doubles down. The fruit is denser and more focused. Cigar box characters and aniseed peer through. More plummy and boysenberry fruit are apparent and the spice game is played harder too. The mouth is coated consistently with a harmony between fruit, oak and acid. A wine that will age well and is terrific buying for the money, you won't miss if you are looking for longevity.
