Tempranillo is wine for meat eaters and this doesn't disappoint. There's plenty of action to appease and assist as you gnaw on a chunk of protein.
A swirl of the glass and there's buckets of interest thrown into your lap. Liquorice, olives, sweetish black earth, pan juices, charcoal and dense plums. I could go on... The fruit is lush and mouth-filling. Some spice rattles along finishing with raspy and firmish tannins. Much to like. A glass for me please.
Drink now to five years.
