I do love a good GSM but this one doesn't float my boat. It's big and boisterous - that noisy mate that just needs to calm down.
A 45/40/15 blend, some fruit sweetness, earthy kicks, and dense fruit to start, but it comes across overripe and the alcohol has some punch. Bitter dark chocolate before the fruit flat lines. You'd be forgiven for thinking there's something a little porty to it. I'll pass this time round.
Drink now to five years.
