The no and low alcohol market is going gangbusters at present. But do you want to drink wine or something made with the addition of grape juice concentrate? If you want the latter with some Lilly Pilly extract for good measure, maybe this is for you? You won't find me in the queue.
There is something not right with a bottle of wine having a list of "ingredients" on the back. Is it wine or some knock about drink created in a lab by someone trying to tap into a booming market?
The back label even says, "We have carefully selected varietals and native botanical Lilly Polly..." What are the said varietals used in this de-alcoholised wine and why the need to add grape juice concentrate?
To taste and it feels like it has brushed past a green apple skin in the hallway. Very simple, the Lilly Pilly is noticeable as are some yellow flowers, but it's just a bottle of sweet pie apple juice. The sugar here is way up there and masking everything it can. This is not for me.
