Angullong Crossing Reserve Harriet 2019

All the Italians swing into action here - Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Montepulciano come together in a blend that I can't help but keep going back for.

Named after the matriarch of the Crossing family, this blend features dense plums and dark fruits. It's confronting in some respects but endearing at the same time. Black earth, woodsy spices, leather and licorice. There is even some boot polish for good measure. Big tannins feature large on a close. They are cocoa powder like. Enjoy this with hearty dishes. As for longevity, it's here for the long haul. Well played.
