When a couple of wine racks arrived for review, I wasn't particularly sure how to go about the process. Would I fill them and sit and watch them closely analysing their ability to hold bottles? Perhaps I assess their ability to age the wine? Oh, the first world problems we encounter...
This modular wine rack from Wine Stash is certainly a well-built product and comes fully assembled (length 50cm, width 37cm, height 50cm). Rustic in appearance with metal edges, it's not all that heavy either. Its appearance is very 1980s though and not the look I'd go for, but I have no doubt it would be stylish for some. My biggest issue with this style of rack is the number of bottles that it can hold. Given wine bottles are not all the same shape, if you have different types of bottles it will impact how many you can store. I tried a few configurations, and although it is said to house 24 bottles, I found this was not always the case. What did have me agast was the eye-watering asking price. Ouch! You'd be better off getting a 120 bottle wine rack for that.
