Glorious fruit. Glorious depth. A super impressive Grenache from the southern Barossa.
The Fromm vineyard sits in the deep south of the Barossa edging on the Adelaide Hills GI boundary. Quite different from the dense 2020 vintage, the fruit here has dancy feet and is draped in athletic gear ready to stride out.
Red plums, juicy raspberries, red earth, a dash of chocolate, and attractive five spice with fine tannins. Length for days, those exotic spices coil around the mouth and draw you closer. But I'm here for that delicious fruit and the persistent finish that whispers at you to come back for more. Sure thing! A brilliant wine.
