Dripping with refreshment, this Altair Estate Vermentino from Margaret River is clean and crisp. Delightful drinking.
Bright with good energy, those warm days by the pool are sorted. Interest is plentiful kicking off with seaspray, lemon juice, lemon zest, crunchy green Nashi pear, green melon and lemon grass with a Mediterranean tonic texture. A touch of residual sugar remains but is balanced well by the weight of the wine and the acidity. A big tick from me.
