A really enjoyable Shiraz for little outlay, it shows you don't have to spend big to have an approachable red wine in your glass.
In short, dense fruit is wrapped up in a bundle of spices. Sift a little deeper and dark plums and black cherries muse with blackberries. Char, burnt dark chocolate, pan juices add a meaty touch with an earthy driving through. Black pepper and exotic spices reach long. For a $16 wine there is plenty on offer. Relaxing by the fire pit, burger night, spag bol, casual get togethers are all its wheelhouse.
Drink to five years.
