From IronCloud Wines in Western Australia's Ferguson Valley, this is a really smart Chardonnay with delicious fruit and a glorious presence.
Brioche and custard powder partner yellow and white fleshed stonefruit with a shimmer of key lime pie. Cashews and hazelnuts offer a delightful nutty appeal and the creamy drive from time in oak plays its hand offering a terrific length. Still a little firm with a salivating fruit concentration, that tension seizes up late. It's a great drink for Chardy fans who enjoy a little grunt without it being OTT.
