What a peach! A layered and complex Chardonnay that is serious in its presentation.
It opens with flint and matchsticks and shows more yellow fleshed stonefruit than white. Ruby grapefruit, roasted cashews, buttered toast sourdough fold into one another with ease. The fruit is ripe and the measured power only highlights the cohesion of the package. Fine ginger spices rattle along with a textural presence feathered throughout adding detail, interest and a dangerously moreish length. A fabulous Chardonnay hands down.
