La Violetta YÉ-YÉ Blanc 2017

An out there blend of Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Viognier (86/10/4) sure to pulverise a few, but it's finger licking good. Coupled with the attractive aromas and textural appeal, it's one of those wines which you'll be madly in love with or not.

White flowers, black currant leaf, lime pith and rose water aromas set a keen pace. 15% of the wine was fermented in old oak which adds another dimension to the energetic fruit. A wine which slides through with ease, citrus fruits step up a notch in the mouth. A minerally edge and good palate weight add further intrigue. Chill it down hard and pour generously.
