I do like these Windowrie wines. Find a steak and you have a perfect partner in this wine.
Berry basket aromas, Szechuan pepper and char get my attention early. Blackberry and blueberry fruit cut loose in the mouth. Quite linear, firm tannins make their presence felt with a bitey spice to close. The finish leaves the mouth drying and puckering.
Drink now but time will soften the edges to eight years.
