Meerea Park Hell Hole Semillon 2018

I was privileged to attend the Meerea Park new release dinner in Brisbane a couple of nights ago. This Semillon was served pre-dinner and hit the spot. A new release hot off the press.

Some tension through mid-palate immediately caught the eye. Lime leaf and lemons purr through. Soft phenolics. A little chalky in the mouth before tangy limes rush late. Soft white flowers add attractive aromas. It's a little linear but finishes long and moreish. Great stuff.

Drink now but will age - if that's how you like your Semillon.
