A reliable GSM and back where it should be - I wasn't overly a fan of the 2015. A nip and tuck and we are back in business. Seeking a good value blend, look no further.
A little bit less Grenache in this release but more Mataro than the 2015 (50/32/18). Red fruits swamp the nose and the mouth. It's juicy and generous. Soft feels with soft spices sprinkled throughout. Some pan juices and meaty characters try hard to be seen as do puffs of earth, but the red fruit keeps chugging away providing humble pleasure leaving the spice to hum on a long finish. Yep, give me a top up please.
Drink now to three years.
