A clever Yarra Valley Pinot Noir that took a little time to get moving. Once the rubber hit the road, there was some serious momentum.
Aromas of strawberries, twigs and lillypilly greet you on opening. Superfine to taste, it was on the second day of tasting that its groove was found. Licks of aniseed along with expected earthiness plus a wonderful depth of fruit started to emerge. Perhaps a little decant prior to drinking now would be best but some bottle age will only enhance the experience. The lesson here is patience rewards.
Best drinking 2020 to six years+.
