Levantine Hill Kathleen's Paddock Chardonnay 2016

One of those wines you just want to keep going back to. And I did. Classy Chardonnay.

A pristine wine from top to toe. Scents of matchsticks and struck match early. Some tension is evident but then things unfurl and the layers of beauty add pleasure at every turn. Concentrated stonefruit, nutty goodness with shades of caramel. Brioche adds some width with a creamy drive before a lemony tang to close. A delicate tickle of ginger leaves another reason to repeat the dose. Brilliant!
