Yelland and Papps Vin de Soif 2017

For a three year old release, beguiling freshness brings some absolute smash factor with it. A super juicy and moreish blend.

Like one of those birds that trawls the seas for fish, this flies gracefully, darts down deep into the water for its prized catch emerging to soar high before devouring it's work.

Grenache, Mataro and Carignan come together delivering a wine with red fruit skipping about, some cherries and puffs of earth. There's a little char too. With 38% whole bunches and 20 months in old French oak, dried herbs play a mere secondary role as exotic spices twist and curl around the mouth. The electric red apple acidity brings some, "Hey, top up the glass now," factor. So hey, why not? Big smiles and good times here we come!

Drink now to five years.
